How to unlock blackberry phones

Call your current carrier to get the unblock code for your phone.Most carriers willing to give you the code, as long as your accountis in good standing and has been fixed for atleast six months. Givethem your IMEI number so they can give you the appropriate code. The IMEI number is located under the battery on your phoneand can be found by dialing*#06# on your mobile device.
Turn your phone ON, scroll to manage connections ICON and press on the trackball to select it or hit enter. Select 'TURN ALL CONNECTIONS OFF' and press the back button or the end button to get back to the main screen. Scroll to the main screen. Scroll tothe 'settings' icon and select it. Scroll to the 'advanced options' and hit to select. Select 'SIM CARD' under the 'advanced options'. Enter the MEDD on your keypad, then enter 'MEP2'.
Select the 16-digit unlock code you received from your carrier. The screen should display 'code accepted' when you finish. When typing 'MEPD', they will not appear on your screen, so be careful to enter them correctly. When getting your IMEI number, write it down and double check to make sure you have the numbers right.
