Tecno F8 (Phantom A2): Full Specifications & Price in Nigeria

Tecno products have recently been dominating the market especially in Nigeria, Ghana & Kenya when it comes to Android devices.
They have proven themselves over and over again, by bringing out new devices to correct or out-do the already existing devices in the market. This Phantom A2 is actually an improved version of the already known Tecno Phantom A1 phone.

• SCREEN DISPLAY: The Phantom A2 comes with a 5.7 inch display screen. So, the phone is recommended for those who prefer a large screen display powered with screen touch ability.

• SIM: It is a dual SIM phone, meaning that you can use 2 networks on the phone at the same time.

• CONNECTIVITY: Although it can access the internet faster by connecting to a WiFi hotspot, it also supports 3.75G, 3G and 2G networks respectively. It also has bluetooth capability which allows it to pair with other devices and computers to send and receive files within a 10 feet range.

• OPERATING SYSTEM: The operating system runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and with a 1.2 GHZ quad core processor, which makes it more faster and smarter.

• BATTERY: It comes with a battery life of 2630mAH which is a great improvement when compared to that of Phantom A1.

• MEMORY: It has an in-built memory of 4GB which can be expanded to 32Gb with an external microSD card.

• ANDROID APPS: The device comes with some already installed apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype etc while other apps can be easily downloaded from the android play store.

• CAMERA: It has a 13 MP camera of this device is one of the great improvements of this device. This allows it to capture images clearer but it is mostly more effective during the day because it doesn't come with a flash light.

I believe that Tecno Mobile must have caved themselves a good market in Africa, for being a Mobile Phone Corporation to bring in Android smartphones in the market at an affordable price. This act is just enough for us to start seeing tags like "I Love Tecno", because this is indeed generating fans for the company. Tecno launched a new smartphone into the market which i believe is one of their Android Smartphones running on android 4.2.2 operating system.
Tecno Phantom A2 is a better and enhanced version of Tecno Phantom + and the Phantom F7, a slim and elegant rectangular design phone with slightly rounded corners and also a 3.5G network.
This is a big surprise as i did not expect a higher version of Phantom F7 with such performance from Tecno. The Phantom A - (Tecno F7) mobile phone is an enhanced version of Tecno Phantom + smart phone with a 3.75G network and it is running on:
• Google Android Operating System, Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean
• 1.2 GHz quad core CPU
• Large display of 5.7 inches touchscreen with a 8 mega pixels camera with LED flash.

The android phone is having dual camera of 8 mega pixels rear camera with flash and 1.2 mega pixels front facing camera for video calling.
The only difference between Tecno Phantom + and Tecno Phantom A2 is the 3.75G network, quad-core processor, a bigger display of 5.7" and embedded GPU.

International Mobile Telephone Codes

International Mobile Telephone Code or International Dial Code is a structured code that is unique to a particular country of which enables an efficient transfer of voice data and text data from one country to another! Just like when a mobile phone user in Onitsha, Nigeria with a digital mobile number of 08063289268 wants to transfer a voice data (i.e make call ) to another user in London, England with a digital number of 07024063610, the dialer in Nigeria will remove the first "0" and replace it with England's Dial Code of which is "+44", and it should be in this format "+447024063610", before you dial it!
The Country Telephone Code I listed below will be of an inestimable value to you, especially when an International Number flashes your mobile phone, atleast you would be able to know the source of the call.

REVIEWS
¤ The election in Anambra State that was scheduled to hold on Saturday, 16th November, 2013 has it that the election was postponed in some parts of the state! Such Local Government include Orumba South (Umunze), Idemili North & South, etc! These aformentioned Local Governments had their election on Sunday, 17th November, 2013. The main reason behind the postponement was as a result of late arrival of electoral materials in such areas, and also to make sure that eligible persons participated in the voting exercise! The APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh commended such an idea, saying that the postponement of the election is a welcomed development!

Passengers protest as Arik Air grounds aircraft

Hundreds of air travelers went through harrowing experience yesterday, as an Uyo-bound airplane belonging to Arik Airline, suddenly developed faults while taxing for take off at the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos, thus forcing the pilot to abort the flight and return the aircraft to base for maintenance.
The incident, however had its ripple effect in Uyo as it resulted in a protest by passengers who were scheduled to be brought back to Lagos from Uyo at about 12.45pm on the same aircraft following the repeated shifting of the arrival time of the aircraft from 12.05pm to 3.45pm and later 8.45pm.
It was the second time this week, that the airline would be forced to terminate a scheduled flight that was taxing for takeoff for the same problem, a trend that signals that all was not well with the airline’s fleet of aircraft and calls to question, the competence of the officials in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), who okayed such aircraft as airworthy and fit to fly.

• Arik Aircraft

On Monday, a pilot manning a bombardier aircraft belonging to the company, which was bound for Uyo from Lagos at about 10.45am, spotted a fault as the aircraft amber light suddenly turned red while taxing, signaling danger. To avert a crash, the pilot had to abort the flight. It took about seven hours to fix the problem and get the flight back on track, to take the Uyo-bound passengers to their destination.
However, yesterday’s aborted flight in Lagos and the subsequent fixing of the aircraft created tension and anxiety among passengers, who initially refused to board the aircraft after it was repaired and certified fit to fly.
Arik Air’s head of flight operations and deputy managing director, Capt Ado Sanusi, who spoke to journalists, confirmed that the aircraft that would have flown to Uyo from Lagos to airlift passengers back to Lagos, developed a snag while taxing to take off from the Lagos General Aviation Terminal (GAT).
Sanusi said that engineers had worked on the aircraft but that the intending passengers protested and said they would not board the plane again.

“If we call for boarding and the passengers refuse to board, we cancel the Lagos to Uyo flight. Then the Abuja to Uyo flight that is scheduled to stay over in Uyo will now bring the passengers back to Lagos, “ Sanusi said.

As at press time, another source at Arik Air said that the passengers had agreed to board the aircraft back to Uyo. “The aircraft has left to Uyo with the passengers and it will bring back to Lagos, the passengers at Uyo airport,” he said.
